Sambhram Academy of Management Studies (SAMS) initiated and instituted the equal opportunity cell. It was formed to create a fair, unbiased educational environment for students. (EOC) Address affair relating to marginalization and exclusion of minorities, gender, casts, religion and ethnicity.

Objective

To ensure the policies and programs for students/faculty members are implemented effectively.
To facilitate legal remedies in cases of equal opportunity violations.
To guide socially-economically weak students to avail of all permissible scholarships, financial assistance and guidance for carrier development.
To organize training programs for students of socially and educationally backward communities and physically challenged students.
To encourage students to enroll for various career building and placement programs so that they are empowered so that they are empowered to face interviews and job selection process confidently.

Functions

To provide support and help students belonging to SC/ST, minorities and create barrier free access to various services.
To create awareness and provide guidance about various welfare.
To include various schemes including remedial classes/remedial coerces and coaching at different levels of students so as to improve proficiency and performance of students.
To create a socially congenital atmosphere for academic interaction and for the growth of healthy interpersonal relationships among the students coming from various social backgrounds.
To promote the cultural heritage and organize seminars/workshops/exhibitions/cultural functions/sports events to increase social inclusion.
