HUMAN RIGHTS CELL
PREAMBLE
Human Rights cell came in to existence in our college during the academic year 2015-16.The cell aims at creating awareness about human rights among the faculty, staff and students. The cell aims to promote, preserve and implement human rights through effective institutional policy development, capability building and control of Human Rights violations. The cell will help to inculcate consciousness about the sanctity of Human Rights in the students so that they may respect and promote their own Human Rights and those of others.
OBJECTIVES
- To promote the culture of Human Rights in the college.
- To raise the awareness of Human Rights issues.
- To educate and train the students on Human Rights.
ACTIVITIES
- To encourage students to contribute write ups, photos/posters of notable Human Rights activists.
- To observe the birth anniversaries of Savitribai Phule, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, Mahatma Gandhi and International Human Rights Day through lectures to commemorate the contributions of these great thinkers and activists towards protection and promotion of Human Rights.awareness of Human Rights issues.
